Teed Up S4E6: Stuck in Dodgers Country

This week, the hosts Matthew Gomez and Matthew Coleman are joined by a pair of Dodgers fans, Long Beach Current video assistant Junior Contreras and DodgersBeat writer Adrian Medina to talk Shohei Ohtani’s 50/50 season, MLB playoff predictions and compete in a game of Immaculate Grid.

Gomez and Coleman find the time to rant about their teams that have missed the playoffs: the Los Angeles Angels and San Francisco Giants.

Debates about the Dodgers became one of the main talking points, including opinions on the impressiveness of Ohtani’s season and the legitimacy of the Dodgers’ threat in October.

They then shift to discussing the Mets—Braves doubleheader and the most likely scenarios for the playoffs. The hosts and guests take the time to make predictions about what teams they feel are the biggest threats and discuss which teams were the biggest letdowns this season.

To close, a game of Immaculate Grid is played between the hosts and guests, with the grid including the San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees and Seattle Mariners, as well as 300+ save seasons and sub 3.00 ERA seasons for pitchers.
