A 21-year-old female student was transported to the hospital after sustaining non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a car. The driver of the car was a 52-year-old woman. The accident occurred March 10 at 5:07 p.m. in parking lot 16. The Long Beach Fire Department responded to treat the victim. The student was taken to the hospital by a friend. A traffic collision report has been filed with the campus police.
