Two suspects arrested in connection with assault of CSULB student

The Long Beach Police Department released sketches of the two suspects on March 7.

Two suspects were arrested on March 12 in connection with the assault of a 19-year-old Cal State Long Beach student, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Jonathan Britton, 20, of Long Beach has been charged with attempted murder, battery with serious injury, assault by means of committing great bodily injury and robbery. A 15-year-old suspect was arrested with Britton and was released to his parents on March 12, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

The suspects were arrested on March 12 after police were called to the Park Avenue Apartments on Beverly Plaza where the alleged assault took place. Officers came into contact with the suspects and arrested them for trespassing.
