In front of the Human Services and Design Building, two young actors, Armando (far right) and Zach (center), perform a scene in "Mother Ship," a short film written by senior Cal State Long Beach film major Pablo Leda. "Mother Ship" producer and senior film major Fil Garrison described the film as "a coming of age, romantic, sci-fi comedy." Garrison, noting that Leda was originally from Argentina, also described his style as "12 Monkeys-ish," "quirky" and "intelligently disturbing."
