CSULB probably played its best game of the season to earn the easy 16-9 victory over the powerful Trojans. The 49ers jumped out to a 10-1 halftime lead and then an insurmountable 13-2 third quarter edge. Coach Schultz sent in all of his reserves at the end of the third quarter.
