Rhonda Marikos (left), director of the Isabel Patterson Child Development Center, cuts the ribbon to officially celebrate the new school-age program building at the center. The new 1,800-square-foot building includes two classrooms, a kitchen, restrooms and a small staff office. It was built because the old building was deemed "seismically unstable" and would have been too expensive to repair.
