What do you think?

On Tuesday, Sept. 19, President George W. Bush addressed the United Nations and spoke of Iran’s nuclear ambitions. He spoke directly to the Iranian people, telling them that their government was “misleading them about the United States’ intentions while using their national treasury to sponsor terrorists and build nuclear weapons,” according to an article in the New York Times. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad addressed the United Nations, instead claiming it was the United States instead that is trying to strong-arm and bully the rest of the world with its own nuclear arsenal.

What do you think? Do you think Iran is really pursuing peaceful uranium enrichment as a source of energy or does Iran intend to create nuclear weapons? Is the United States’ concern over this program justified? Does it even matter?
