With a splash of fun, 49er Camp provides children from five to 13 years old with a getaway during the summer before heading back to school in the fall. While the objective of 49er Camp is to provide each child with increased physical fitness, written evaluations and fitness profiles, the children also learn to interact with their fellow campers. The camp’s Session 2 got started on Monday and will last until August 12. Throughout the second session, children will be instructed in various activities such as archery, basketball, bowling, swimming and soccer. Along with learning new sports, children are exposed to a college atmosphere.
