The Long Beach Greek Festival has been held in Long Beach for over 60 years. Hosted by the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, the event has served as a way to celebrate Greek Heritage through food, drink and music. All are welcome to join the community in the festivities.

The festival offers a wide variety of Greek dishes and drinks. This ranges from Greek desserts such as baklava and loukoumades and Greek beverages like krasi, kafe, and ouzo. Some festival favorite dishes include gyros and souvlaki kalamaki.

Outside of food, the festival features live Greek music provided by “The Olympians” and a dance floor where all attendance can enjoy the music. The event will also be hosting a prize drawing on September 5th, a grand prize of $5,000 dollars along with other prizes.

The festival opens at noon each day for $5 admission. For more information on the event, visit the Long Beach Green Festival website.
