Any true Long Beach local knows that one of the most lively things about the city is its art. Over the summer, a global network of artists under the name “POW! WOW!,” presented it’s annual mural project. With the help of over 20 artists, Long Beach saw new murals pop up throughout the city. If you are new to Long Beach, or want to see it in a new light, taking a tour of the murals makes for a cheap and fun artistic adventure.
- This mural by The Draculas depicting a frosty battle between two titans is located on the outside of “V Room,” a popular dive bar on Alamitos St. and 4th St.
- This mural of a fox in a scarf near an ocean and backdrop of roses by artist Nosego is located at 1000 E. New York St.

- The pink and blue mural of a motel by artist TRAV MSK is located on the corner of E. Anaheim St. and Hoffman Ave. across the street from the Mark Twain branch of the Long Beach Public Library.
- In a mural by Ryan Milner, iguanas and a raccoon are lined up on a wall outside Iguana Kelley’s, a bar on 4306 E. Anaheim St.
- This mural by Noelle Martinez can be found under a bridge next to 4949 Atlantic Ave.
- This colorful mural by Mina Hamada is located at the entrance of a parking lot on Pine Ave. and 4th St.
- This mural of a blue bird’s eye by Adele Renault can be found on the side of Graphaids Long Beach, found on 441 E. 4th Street.
- A child sits on the wall of Poké Bar at 525 E. First St. is this mural by Nate Frizzell.

- Liberation Brewing Co. at 3630 Atlantic Ave. is home to this mural by Ezra One.
