Slideshow: Red Hot Chili Peppers play for charity, fans

The Red Hot Chili Peppers played a benefit show for the Silverlake Conservatory of Music on Aug. 24 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles.

One hundred percent of the proceeds went to the conservatory to support music education for children, a few of whom were in attendance at the concert.

Flee, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bassist, thanked all attendants before proceeding to play old hits and new songs off their upcoming album, “I’m With You,” due out on Aug. 29.
