Anniversary Celebration

Fundraiser

The Long Beach Current (formerly Daily Forty-Niner) is hosting a crowdfunding campaign through BeachFunder from February 10 - 21. To celebrate the past 75 years as the Daily Forty-Niner and help support student journalism as the Long Beach Current for the next 75, we are working to raise $7,500—that's $100 for every year we’ve been publishing.

The goal of this campaign is to help fund our newsroom as the journalism landscape continues evolving in a digital-first world. These funds will be used to purchase new multimedia equipment, maintain our monthly print issue, supplement student editor salaries, and cover any unexpected costs our newsroom may face.

Thank you in advance for helping us maintain this CSULB institution.
