Guards earn postseason conference honors
Junior Donovan Morris was named to the All-Big West first-team, while Greg Plater was selected to the All-Freshman team. Morris won the conference scoring title with an average of 21 points per game, while averaging 23.5 against conference opponents. Plater averaged 7.4 points per game as a true freshman and scored in double figures nine times, including a career-high 21 points at Pepperdine.

Women’s Basketball
Duo claims Big West accolades
Junior guard Karina Figueroa earned her second career All-Big West second-team selection, and guard LaTorya Barbee nabbed a spot on the All-Freshman team. Figueroa led the team in scoring with 12.9 points per game and ranked second on the team in assists and steals. Coming off the bench to begin the season, Barbee finished the season with starts in 17 of the team’s last 18 games, and averaged 6.6 points for the 49ers.
