Sam Farfán is a senior journalism student who also studies public relations at Long Beach State. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, she moved to Long Beach to pursue her intersectional interests in art, media and writing while in college. At the Long Beach Current, Sam has held positions on the Opinions and Special Projects desks before becoming the community engagement editor. After graduation, Sam would love to work either as a communications specialist for Fender or as an editorial editor at Variety.
