Annette Quijada is a news assistant at the Current. Over the years she has been a news editor, opinions editor, copy editor, managing editor and editor-in-chief at her community college, East Los Angeles College. When not on campus, she spends a lot of my time reading fantasy romance books, going to Dodger games, hitting Disneyland and working. A fun fact about Annette is in elementary school she got a trophy for reading 100 books in 1 month and she'll never not bring that up.
