UNIQUE LA presented a holiday mall alternative at The California Market Center this weekend with one-of-a-kind fashion, design, art and food made in America.
Despite the take-me-home quality of every item, the only items I consumed were GT’s Kombucha and IZZE, among other samples.
The show, founded by Sonja Rasula, took two months to curate its more than 330 participants. Not only did the vendors and estimated 20,000 attendees benefit from the event, but a portion of the $10 admission fee will go to help kids ages 6-18 with their writing skills through nonprofit organization 826LA.
Here’s snapshots of some creative minds and their merchandise from organic sweets to porcupine pendant necklaces to remade vintage clothing.
