Vote!!!
Price: $0.99
While watching the presidential debates, there are some times when you wish the candidates would just put on the gloves and fight it out for real. Luckily, Chair Studios has released an app called “Vote!!!” for smart phones, which allows you to pick either Mitt Romney or Barack Obama and then mercilessly beat up your opponent Mortal Kombat-style in a ring shaped like the debate floor.
Even though this sounds like a complete joke, the app actually keeps a running tally of the percentage of users who choose each candidate as their fighter, which serves as an interesting mini-poll. So far, Barack Obama is winning slightly with 51 percent. It seems that even in a videogame the public is somewhat split between the candidates.
The app also constantly tells users to make sure they’re registered and reminds them that they need to vote, so it has good intentions despite its humorous premise.
