By This spring, students should pull out their gladiator sandals from last season, or catch up on the fashion accessories that are sweeping the runways and buy a pair of new sandals.
A lot of the high-end designer brands are putting together high-heeled versions of the gladiators that will look great out on the town for a Friday night. They come at a price though. For example, BCBG Max Azria came out with a beautiful high heel with many buckles for a whopping $275.
Buckles have come to be a fashion statement made on many of this season’s shoes. Some of the cheaper gladiator options come from Forever 21, Steve Madden and Target and they tend to keep you flat-footed. Since the gladiator sandal is a fashionable accessory that has spanned more than one season, shoppers will most likely find them on the sales racks of your favorite shoe retailers, including DSW shoes or Ross. Keep in mind, the more buckles the better, although they may take a while to get on. The extra time is worth it because the buckles create an edgier look, overall.
Also, check out some new jewelry to this season. Lately, ladies’ necklines have been staying bare. This is all starting to change because large stones and jewelry are making its way onto the runways. Colorful stones are very popular and can really dress up an outfit.
Forever 21 once again has come to save the day with colorful large jewelry under $10. Kohl’s and Target also have some low-budget jewelry that keeps an outfit colorful. For an expensive, high-end look, check out AV Max, a line of $114 jewelry that includes brightly colored stones.
