Various artists rock the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater

Fans enjoy the performances at this years' Wango Tango

It was a sold-out night at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine as over 15,000 fans cheered for their favorite artist at KIIS FM’s Wango Tango Saturday.
The All-American Rejects, Lady GaGa, the Black Eyed Peas, Pitbull and a surprise performance by LMFAO were some of the few artists that fans went crazy for.
Madcon opened the show with their single “Beggin” while Kevin Rudolf performed his three singles off “In The City” album and got the crowd dancing and singing along to “Let It Rock.”
As the show kept going, bigger acts began taking the stage. Soulja Boy went back to his 2007 No. 1 hit, “Crank That” and got everyone doing the Soulja Boy dance.
The crowd sang along to The All-American Rejects hits like “Dirty Little Secret,” “Move Along,” “Swing, Swing,” “Gives You Hell” and their latest single “The Wind Blows.”
Flo Rida brought some fans on stage to dance to “Low.” The fans went crazy for his recent chart-toppers, “Right Round” and “Sugar.” He also performed the song “Jump” from his recent album “R.O.O.T.S” which features Nelly Furtado.
A lot of people and celebrities were eager to see Lady Gaga’s performance. This became the highlight of the night as Lady Gaga came to the stage like no other artist.
Gaga showed clips of herself and came out to the stage with one of her outrageous outfits singing her latest single “Love Game” which the crowd went crazy for.
She then said that despite the economy being in a rut, that doesn’t stop anyone from being “Beautiful, Dirty, Rich.” She sang the song to many screaming fans. The song is also featured in the show “Dirty Sexy Money.”
“Just Dance” got everybody dancing and jumping, but the song everybody was waiting for was “Poker Face.”
Two versions of “Poker Face” were performed, a piano version and the original version.     One of the biggest highlights of her performance was when she performed the piano version. GaGa admitted something about “Poker Face.”
“KIIS FM was the only one that said I had to censor my lyrics because they thought I might be saying something bad,” Gaga said. “Out of all the radio stations that played this record over and over, KIIS FM was the only one that caught up.”
Jamie Foxx’s special performance consisted of “Gold Digger” and “Blame It.”
Right after his performance, Kelly Clarkson took the stage and performed her hit singles “Since U Been Gone,” “Walk Away” and “Miss Independent.”
She rocked the stage with four tracks off her “All I Ever Wanted” album, including “My Life Would Suck Without You,” “If I Can’t Have You,” “I Do Not Hook Up” and her next single, which she calls “the ballad of her album” titled, “Already Gone.”
Another performance the crowd went wild for were the Black Eyed Peas. Huge robot-shaped balloons blew up the stage as the Peas came on to the stage and performed “Pump It” “Lets Get It Started,” “Don’t Phunk With My Heart” and “My Humps.”
Fergie then took the stage by herself to perform “Fergalicious” and Will. I. Am. joined her to rap.
“Boom Boom Pow” was the song everyone sang and danced along to but was surprised when the Black Eyed Peas brought LMFAO onto the stage to perform “I’m in LA Trick” together.
The Peas then gave a world premiere performance of their second single off their fifth studio album, “The E.N.D.” titled “I Got A Feeling.”
The last artist to hit the stage was Pitbull. This artist got everybody dancing to songs such as “The Anthem,” “Crazy” and the most recent singles “I Know You Want Me” and “Blanco.”
Pitbull closed the show by thanking KIIS FM for having him perform.
“I want to thanks my fans,” Pitbull said. “Because without you guys, there wouldn’t be a Pitbull!”
All the artists who performed have an album out and are currently promoting them.
Wango Tango is an annual day-long concert produced by 102.7 KIIS FM.
