Liebel named Pitcher of the Week
Senior right-hander Andrew Liebel was named the Big West Conference Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season. He hurled a five-hit shutout against UC Santa Barbara to win his fourth consecutive decision, improve to 7-2 and lower his conference-best 1.69 ERA.

Richardson wins decathlon title at Big West Championships
Senior Chris Richardson won the Big West Championship by increasing his lead in the decathlon by 441 points, totaling 7,461 overall points. Richardson is on pace to repeat as an All-American and compete in the NCAA Championships in Des Moines, Iowa beginning June 11. The men’s track and field team is currently in first place after the first weekend of the Big West Championships held in Northridge, while the women are currently in third.
