City Editor Tiffany Rider’s overview of LGBT Diversity Week in the April 14 article, “LGBT Diversity Week begins with forum,” provided readers with context for the week’s public education events.
Staff writer Joanne Tucker’s April 15 article, “Hate speech forum makes waves in Beach Auditorium,” vividly captured the intense dialogue and emotion expressed at the campus forum.
Finally, staff writer Erica McClaugherty’s April 17 article, “Professors talk on being out in LGBT community,” depicted the inspiration students felt listening to openly – LGBT CSULB professors describing their experiences in academia.
