Invitational galore over the weekend
LBSU will compete in the Mt. SAC Decathlon-Heptathlon April 16-17 in Azusa, Calif., then compete in the Mt. SAC relays (April 18-20) in Walnut, Calif. During the Mt. SAC relays this weekend, the 49ers will host a Beach Invitational on April 19 at the campus track.

No. 1-seeded 49ers in semifinal action
LBSU receives two byes in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Tournament and will host the semifinal and final matches beginning April 24.

Joe Calzaghe (44-0, 32 knockouts) will fight Bernard Hopkins (48-4-1, 32 KOs) in a 12-round bout Saturday night in Las Vegas.
