It should be no surprise to the Forty-Niner staff that the dean wants to whack the print version of the paper. Your editorial board touts Ken Burns’ latest documentary, about World War II, as “magnificent.”
It then spends the balance of the editorial condemning Burns’ production due to its alleged lack of minority representation. All Americans participated in the war effort.
Those crying the most are the “diversity over substance and qualification” types, who insist their contribution was the greatest. Men and women of all races pulled together and won the war.
That was the key to victory then and should be now.
