This is definitely a must-read over the winter break.

This is for all you muggles who have not read great book. This is the sixth book in an exciting series which is filled to the brim with new characters and returning ones. Read how Harry and Dumbledore try to discover the secrets of Lord Voldemort. Harry tries to survive love and the dangers of becoming a puppet for the Ministry of Magic. This book is a must read as readers go with Harry to uncover the mystery of Voldemort.
“The Widow of the South”

This book makes for an excellent audio book for the long drive or plane ride home. In the audio book, readers will hear the Civil War through the characters of Miss Caries, Zachariah Cashwell and General Forest, including the soldiers’ account of the battles and hardships they face. “The Widow of the South” is filled with sadness and a tiredness of a war taking its toll on the country. The book has all the promise of a great account of how things were during a difficult time for our country.

Another perfect book for knitters. This book is overflowing with designs inspired by nature from turtles to almost anything that is nature. This book has well written directions and is good for any knitters, from beginners to pros.
“Maximum Ride: School’s Out Forever”

The second book of the series of “Maximum Ride: The Angle Experiment” continues the story of Max and her family. The kids have wings as they explore who they are and try to find their parents. Patterson does a wonderful job in tapping into science fiction for kids, creating characters that can understand what being different is all about, while trying to understand the world around them.
