A two-car collision took place on the corner of State University Dr. and Palo Verde at approximately 5 p.m. The driver of a magenta Toyota LE hit the rear of a silver Nissan Altima. No serious injuries were sustained. The driver of the Toyota was on her way to pick up her children from elementary school when she hit the other vehicle. “Accidents happen,” she said.
